Yoshiaki　MATSUI

Greeting from Kyoto! I’m Yoshiaki MATSUI, Deputy Director of Conventions.

I started my career as a staff member of a Hotel in KOBE, before moving to the Japan National Tourism Organization and working there for 2 years. There, I took part in government related activities and was ultimately able to see success in attracting some large conventions to Japan.

Since 2015, I have been working for Kyoto to bring conventions, corporate meetings and incentive tours to our city.

We know there are many important factors are important in choosing a destination – facilities, tourist attractions, safety, infrastructures, city support, etc. In Kyoto, we are confident that we have great strengths that are second to no other city in the world.

We are non-profit organization, so we are happy to offer our consulting and our materials to assist you with your projects, free of charge.
